• Accounting

  • Turn your love of numbers into a rewarding career!
    
    Students interested in training for the accounting field can earn an Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Morrison University.
    
    The Associate degree program at Morrison can train students in accounting fundamentals, such as computer accounting, taxes, accounts receivable and payable, ethics, and banking. Students must also complete general education and elective courses, such as marketing, communications, composition, spreadsheet concepts and information technology.
    
    In addition to more comprehensive elective and general education requirements, students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Accounting program receive additional instruction in accounting systems and financial reporting, like auditing and statistics. The advanced education contributes to the education requirements set for the Nevada CPA exam.

• Computer Science

    The Associate of Science degree in Computer Science at Morrison University can prepare students to compete for entry- to intermediate-level positions in networking and programming.
    
    Students receive hands-on instruction in computer maintenance and repair procedures. All new students receive a tool kit with essential items, such as screwdrivers, pliers, strippers, cabling crimpers and cable tester.
    
    In addition to general education and elective courses, students take core classes in database management, operating systems, systems programming, networking and web design.

• Information Systems

  • Skilled information systems managers administer information technologies (IT) that directly affect U.S. and international businesses.
    
    Students can earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems at Morrison University that prepares them to compete for positions in related fields, such as web hosting, software development, systems design, and data and enterprise management.
    
    The program provides hands-on training in key skills like designing, coordinating and maintaining electronic communication tools, such as websites.
    
    Our comprehensive curriculum includes courses on networking, programming, and web design and information systems procedures. Students also take general education courses and round out their studies with elective courses of their choice that address topics such as leadership, quality management and critical thinking for managers.

    Morrison University offers Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science in Management. They combine business and management concepts that can prepare students to compete for management positions in various fields.
    
    Students enrolled in the Associate program take a combination of general education and elective courses in addition to degree-specific courses covering topics such as information technology, communications, marketing, accounting and ethics.
    
    The Bachelor's degree program features a more extensive core curriculum including classes on leadership, employee training, finance, statistics, commercial law, and operations and quality management.

• Master of Business Administration

    The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Morrison University can provide students with the advanced education and skills they may need to compete for corporate leadership positions. It is open to students who hold a Bachelor's degree and have demonstrated academic or business-related success in the past.
    
    Our demanding curriculum covers key business and policy topics in economics, management, communications and ethics, with the overall goal of helping students effectively evaluate issues they face in their field.
